Processing of personal data when you visit our website

When you visit our website, we store access data in web server log files. The following data is collected:

• Date and time of access
• Directory protection user
• Protocols
• Referrer
• Requested page
• Amount of data transferred
• Status code
• User agent
• Requested hostname
• IP address

We only collect and store your IP address in truncated form. The last three digits are removed so your full IP address never reaches our servers and we never have access to it.

Storage period

The anonymised username and IP address is stored for a maximum of 60 days. Error logs that record faulty page views are deleted after seven days. These logs contain the requesting IP address and, depending on the error, the page called.

Purpose of processing

We need this data for technical and legal reasons. We also analyse visits to improve the website, make it more user-friendly, identify and fix errors more quickly, and manage server capacity. We only use the data in identifiable form if there is a specific indication of unlawful use and we need it for legal action.

Legal basis

The legal basis for processing access data is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interests). Collecting the data is technically necessary because the website cannot be displayed without your IP address. The data collection serves pre-contractual purposes and our legitimate interest in providing the website.

Vercel Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics service provided by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. Vercel Analytics collects anonymised usage data without cookies or storing personal data.

Vercel Analytics sets no cookies and stores no data on your device. Processing is based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). You can object by using a tracking blocker or by contacting us at office@skyline.at.

Google Maps

On our contact page we use Google Maps, a mapping service by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. The map is only loaded after your active consent (click on 'Load Google Maps'). When the map is loaded, data such as your IP address is transmitted to Google.

YouTube videos

We embed YouTube videos on our website and operate a YouTube channel. YouTube is provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Videos from our channel are embedded using privacy-enhanced mode, meaning no data is transmitted to Google if you do not play the videos.

Cloudflare (Image Hosting & CDN)

We use Cloudflare R2 and the content delivery network of Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, to deliver images and media. Media files are stored on servers within the European Union. When images are loaded on our website, data such as your IP address is transmitted to Cloudflare. Contact

When you contact us, Skyline Medien GmbH processes the personal data you provide, such as name, email address, and your message.

Purpose of processing

The data you share is used to respond to your enquiry and to prepare or conclude a contractual relationship.

Legal basis

Processing within the scope of contacting us is based on Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures or performance of a contract).

Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we process your email address to send you news about Skyline’s projects and services about once a month. Sign-up uses double opt-in: you first receive an email in which you confirm your subscription. Without confirmation you will not receive any newsletter; unconfirmed sign-ups are deleted after 30 days.

Data processed

Email address; time of sign-up and confirmation, IP address and browser identifier at sign-up and the page where you signed up (as proof of your consent); delivery, bounces and unsubscription. We count anonymously how often the links in a newsletter are clicked – without any reference to you; for this, links briefly pass through newsletter.agencyflow.at. Links to our website carry campaign parameters (UTM) so that we can recognise visits from the newsletter in our website statistics. We do not track whether or when you open a newsletter.

Legal basis and withdrawal

The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 174 Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021). You can withdraw it at any time via the unsubscribe link in every newsletter or by email to office@skyline.at. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal.

Retention

We keep your data as long as you are subscribed. After you unsubscribe, we keep proof of your consent and unsubscription for up to three years and delete it afterwards. So that we do not contact you again by mistake after deletion, we only keep an irreversible checksum (hash) of your email address.

Service providers

We manage and send the newsletter with AgencyFlow by Second Intellect GmbH (in formation), Grillparzerstraße 4, 5020 Salzburg, Austria; the data is stored by Supabase, Inc. in a data centre in Frankfurt (EU). Emails are sent via Resend Inc. (USA). Data processing agreements are in place with all providers; transfers to the USA are based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or EU standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can exercise the following rights with Skyline Medien GmbH at any time:

• Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR): You may request confirmation as to whether we process personal data about you.
• Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR): You may request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data without delay.
• Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR): You may request deletion of your personal data if the conditions of Art. 17 (1) (a–f) GDPR are met.
• Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR): You may request that we restrict processing.
• Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR): You may receive the personal data concerning you in a structured, commonly used format.
• Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR): You may object to the processing of your personal data at any time.
• Right to withdraw consent (Art. 7 GDPR): You may withdraw consent you have given at any time with effect for the future.
